My life has been completely transformed by summiting Rainier and being apart of Recovery Beyond. Let me explain how: I’ve been sober 2.5 years, in the best shape of my life, have been employed for more then two years, been trained by the best businessmen in the state, lost 75 lbs, consistently see my daughter, have smoked cigarettes for over two years, completed EMDR(Trauma Therapy)released a album entitled God’s Plan, ran two half marathons, a tough mudder(10 mile 30 obstacles), have had secure housing since I left the shelter, build my lasting relationships, working on my LP album, climbed baker and hood, read 38 books, listened to hundreds of audio tapes, wrote thousands of words in my spiritual studies, have a church home Mukilteo Pres. Church, completely separated myself from anyone that uses drugs including loved ones, learned how to treat my finances like a business, learned sales and marketing/business management, and most importantly grew my faith and recovery beyond the world of climbing.
